Polocrosse carnival next month

The Stanley Rivers Polocrosse carnival will take place in two weeks, on May 10-11, at the Kilcoy Showgrounds, marking one of the club's first events of the season.

Club president, Clay Colless, mentioned that people will be travelling from various locations to attend the event. "We don’t know exactly where they will come from until days before the event," he said. "But in past years, we have had people come from Roma, Chinchilla, Toowoomba, and Warwick, to name a few."

The club is expecting around 30 to 35 teams to participate, and they are aiming to form two teams for the event.

Play will commence at 8:30 am on Saturday, with the finals scheduled for Sunday. There will also be a canteen and coffee van available on-site.
