Saddle up R.I.D.E.R.S
WOODFORD is gearing up for one of the biggest events of the year, with the Woodford Rodeo hosting the R.I.D.E.R.S Buckle Event (Riders in the Dirt Elite Rodeo Series) at the showgrounds on Saturday, November 15.
The much-anticipated rodeo finale promises an action-packed night of thrills, showcasing some of the best riders and stock in the country.
Events include saddle and bareback rides, steer wrestling, breakaway roping, steer undecorating, and a range of junior and novice bull rides, giving competitors of all ages a chance to shine.
Rodeo fans can also look forward to a night of live country music, food stalls, and entertainment, with organisers promising to deliver their biggest and best event yet.
“We’re so excited to bring this incredible rodeo experience to Woodford,” organisers said. “This event has something for everyone — top-level competition, great live music, and a fantastic community atmosphere.”
The Woodford Rodeo team has taken on board feedback from past events, with expanded seating, improved lighting, and a larger arena setup to enhance the spectator experience.
The R.I.D.E.R.S Buckle Event marks the final showdown in the 2025 series, bringing together elite riders, families, and rodeo fans from across the region to celebrate a sport that continues to capture the heart of rural Australia.
